What is the expression of a line? Is it a continuous flow throughout the work or is it broken up? This project is to use simple lines and shapes to express complex emotions. Drawing is a form of expression I don’t always enjoy. I used to get so caught up in the accuracy of the work my eraser would be nothing but dust by the end and my nerves would be in tatters. I did this project to get lost in the love of drawing again. Not in the end result but in the process as a whole. I experiment with different tools and just have fun, it is a chance to play.  I used to have trouble filling up a sketchbook. Since this project I have filled up two and am halfway through my 3rd. I will be posting more as this project continues. I also find the drawings from this project to be more usable in my other collage works. Look for them in my other works.
